Our aim is to create serene yet comfortable living spaces with sophisticated finishes reflecting the client’s own taste while respecting the architectural character of the building.

Fifth Element creates timeless interiors without ever losing touch with the practicalities of every-day life. We believe that good design is critical to the correct functioning of home, hotel or office and that unseen spaces are just as significant as public spaces. Along with this pragmatic, grounded approach, we inject personality and grandeur to our spaces, subtly creating the ultimate luxury.

Fifth Element Design is a boutique practice, founded by Staci Perkins-Surla and Christina Logothetis. We provide a comprehensive design service for private and corporate clients with a special emphasis on the hotel and hospitality industry. We implement design strategies that have been agreed with the client in a precise, timely manner, executing every aspect with the highest attention to detail.

CHRISTINA LOGOTHETIS

Christina completed her law degree at UCL, after which she qualified as a solicitor with major London law firm, Stephenson Harwood. Christina has over 15 years’ experience consulting and leading numerous design projects around the world including substantial new-build and refurbishment office projects, multiple large family residences, as well as hotel projects.

Christina decided to set up Fifth Element to bring improvements in service and transparency to the overall practice of interior design and design consultancy. Christina lives in London with her husband and three children.

STACI PERKINS-SURLA

Staci began her interior design training at FIDM in Los Angeles and completed it at Chelsea College of Art, London, receiving her diploma in 2002. After honing her skills with some of the industry’s greats like Tim Gosling and Louise Bradley, she set up her own practice in 2005. Focusing initially on residential spaces, commissions at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and at the Goring Hotel added to the commercial side of her experience. She began working with our co-founder in 2009 when they collaborated on the design of a large Mediterranean villa. Staci’s years of building relationships with suppliers and tradespeople lend valuable experience to the implementation of projects.
